The next Fine Paintings and Sculpture auction will be held on February 3rd. The sale will feature a diverse group of artwork from old masters through contemporary artists including watercolors by Maurice Brazil Prendergast, a still life by Marsden Hartley, drawings by Mark Tobey, and Milton Avery, and oils by Leon Francois Comerre and Edward Antoon Portielje. Paintings auctions at Skinner consistently achieve world record prices, including the $5.5 million sale of a previously undiscovered FH Lane painting entitled Manchester Harbor.
