Summer 19th Century Lighting - Day One
19th Century Lighting featuring the Catherine V. Thuro and John Laughlin collections. This will be the third auction of the Thuro collection including much of the material that she had collected to write Oil Lamps 3. Consisting primarily of early kerosene stand, hand, and hanging lamps plus related parts; along with her library of lighting volumes and associated research, photographs, etc. Following the Thuro collection we will offer the John Laughlin, Conway, AR collection of outstanding Victorian hanging library and hall lamps including many jeweled examples, gas lights, parlor lamps, piano lamps, and associated parts.
