Special Terms and Conditions - China - Japan - Works of Art & Porcelain auction on Saturday 20th January 2024. The date of the sale is Saturday 20th January 2024. The sale of lots will start at 11.00 am (Brussels time). The auction venue is located at Gruuss-Strooss, 19 - L-9991 WEISWAMPACH (Luxembourg). No presence in the auction room. Exhibition by appointment. A. The General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply. B. The lots will be sold without guarantee, "as is". Descriptions and information (weight, measurements, material, condition, etc.) are given for information only. (PLEASE CHECK THE INFORMATION YOU CONSIDER ESSENTIAL BEFORE THE SALE). C. Winning bids will be confirmed to buyers. They will be asked for their choice of shipping and payment. Payment for winning lots must be made immediately. In accordance with articles L. 222-4, L. 222-9 and L. 222-10 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer/consumer has a right of withdrawal. The buyer/consumer has a period of 14 days following receipt of the lot(s) purchased to exercise his/her right of withdrawal. After dispatch or collection of the lot(s), the condition for exercising this right of withdrawal is the request, prior to the sale, for confirmation of the information/description elements that appear essential. The lots are supposed to be collected from our offices in Weiswampach. As delivery of the lot(s) is an optional service, delivery costs will not be reimbursed if the right of withdrawal is exercised. In addition, the Buyer will be responsible for the costs of return shipping and the prize(s) must be received by GoldField in good condition or at least in the condition in which they were shipped by GoldField. The right of withdrawal does not apply (even if the information has been confirmed) to precious metal items (gold, silver, platinum, ...), precious stones (diamond, pearl, ...) and perishable goods (wine, ...). D. For bids via the goldfield.auction website, the purchaser will pay, in addition to the bid, 28% of the costs (all taxes included). D.1. A supplement of 4% will be charged if the bids come from a partner platform: LOT-TISSIMO, DROUOT, THE SALEROOM, INVALUABLE, 51BIDLVE and LIVE AUCTIONEERS. E. No additional charges linked to the method of payment. F. COLLECTION / DISPATCH : Lots must be collected from our premises in WEISWAMPACH. Packages over 30kg cannot be dispatched (except in exceptional circumstances, at GoldField's discretion and subject to quotation). Even under 30 kg, some lots are considered undeliverable by GoldField (size, bulk, weight, ...), GoldField reserves the right to deliver or not a lot. F.3. Lots are deemed to be collected from our premises (WEISWAMPACH). The sending of parcels is a service offered by GoldField. This shipment is made under the entire responsibility of the buyer. In the event of loss, breakage or a parcel being held up at customs, GoldField cannot be held responsible under any circumstances, and the buyer can therefore never demand a refund. However, GoldField will do its utmost to limit the risks, as this is a guarantee of means and not of results. F.4. Paid lots are supposed to be collected within 15 days. If this time limit is exceeded, a sum of 5 EUROS per day and per item will be payable by the buyer until the lots are collected. G. PURCHASE ORDERS : Orders may be placed by letter, Internet or telephone up to 24 hours before the start of each sale. H. PAYMENT : cash, certified cheque, bank transfer, credit cards, in EUROS. I. RESALE RIGHTS - extract from the grand-ducal regulation of 25 August 2006 on resale rights. Art. 3 The minimum sale price above which droit de suite is levied is 3,000 euros, exclusive of tax. The resale right is set as follows - 4% for the first 50,000 euros of the sale price, excluding tax - 3% for the portion of the sale price, excluding tax, between 50,000.01 and 200,000 euros - 1% for the portion of the sale price, excluding tax, between ?200,000.01 and ?350,000 - 0.5% for the portion of the sale price, excluding tax, between 350,000.01 and 500,000 euros - 0.25% for the portion of the sale price, excluding tax, in excess of 500,000 euros. However, the total amount of droit de suite may not exceed ?12,500.
