The amazingly diverse offering of fine art, antiques and decorative rarities at our Winter Enchantment auction is sure to peak collector interest and chase away the February chill. This day will also offer important works by Maine artists, such as: William Manning, Carroll Thayer Berry, Grant Drumheller, Eric Hopkins, John Paul Caponigro, William Thon, Vernon Broe, and Waldo Peirce. On this day, we will sell a large group of estate jewelry & watches, including a circa 1920 18K gold ring set with a 6.54-carat diamond, a Cartier of Paris woven 18K gold mesh purse, and a 14K gold pocket watch by the Hampden Watch Co. with lighthouse and ship decorated case. On this day we will offer 2 German enameled singing bird boxes by Karl Griesbaum, plus a nice selection of bronze animal sculptures and 3 Omersa leather animal footstools.
