Payment Payment must be paid in full before property is released. Funds will be due upon closing of the Auction or presentment of invoice. Payment accepted includes: Check, Cash, Visa, and MasterCard. Checks may be held for up to 5 days for the funds to clear before releasing the property. In cases of non-payment, the Auctioneer?s right to void the sale does not relieve the bidder from their obligation to pay both seller's and buyer's premium and any damages incurred from loss of sale. Buyer's Premium An 18% Buyer's premium will be in affect and is additional to the hammer or purchase price. All bidders will be subject to a 7% Florida State sales tax; dealers are exempt from this if they have a valid Florida State Resale Certificate on file with E. M. Wallace Auctions prior to bidding. Shipping Sold property must be removed from premises within 14 days otherwise a $5 per day storage fee will be assessed per lot, per day. Packing, shipping and insurance of purchased lots is the responsibility of the buyer. E. M. W. Auctions offers in house packing and shipping services for most items at the buyer's expense. If shipped in house, it may take up to 15 days after payment is received to ship property. Once E. M. Wallace Antiques has received payment, delivery method and shipping instructions, a shipping quote will be sent with the exact cost. For faster processing, buyer can contact a shipping company of their choosing. The buyer will not hold E. M. W. Auctions liable for any damage or loss after merchandise has been released from our possession.
