Annual Thanksgiving Auction Day 1

This year's annual Thanksgiving Auction will feature European furnishings, decorative arts, and fine arts on Saturday, November 24th. The auction consists of large collections of French furniture including a monumental inlaid curved glass cabinet with ormolu trim; German porcelain including many hand-painted porcelain plaques; and a significant single owner collection of Daniil Yakovlevich Cherkes paintings. There are also more unusual items like an Etruscan Sarcophagus circa 6th-4th century B.C; several items once belonging to Mohammed Mossadegh, the Prime Minister of Iran from 1951-1953; exceptional jewelry including an Art Deco ruby and diamond bracelet and a 3ct diamond and platinum ring.
