Blue City General Trading Ltd. CONDITION OF SALE 1. The Auctioneers (Blue city general trading ltd.) act as agents only. Each lot as set out in the catalogue, or as divided or joined with any lot or lots at the sole discretion of the Auctioneers, is sold with all faults, imperfections and errors of description and the lots shall be at the purchaser's risk immediately once they are sold. The Auctioneers are not responsible for the authenticity, attribution, genuineness, origin, authorship, date, age, period, condition, material or quality of any lot. All statements in the catalogue as to any of such matters are statements of opinion and are not to be taken as, or as implying, statements or representation of fact. Purchasers are deemed to have satisfied themselves by inspection or otherwise as to all such matters and as to the physical description of any lot. The Auctioneers, nor any person in the employment of the Auctioneers as well as consignors shall not make or give any representation or warranty, and in any event the Auctioneers are not responsible for any representation or warranty or for any statement in the catalogue. And there is no return privilege, all sales are final. 2. The highest bidder acceptable to the Auctioneer, subject to reserve and Auctioneer's discretion, shall be the buyer. The advance in the biddings is to be regulated by the Auctioneers, who are to be sole arbiters in any matter of dispute, and no person is to retract a bidding. The Auctioneers reserve the right to themselves of withdrawing from, consolidating or dividing any lot or lots, of varying the order of sale, or of accepting or refusing the bidding of any person as they may think fit. 3. The 'Condition Reports' in our catalogue is our opinions only, without any warranty of any kinds. The Auctioneers offer photographs to enable the buyer to make an evaluation of a lot, but do not have the equipment to study restoration techniques or concealed damage and so can only relay what can be seen by the naked eye, We have attempted to describe any damage or restoration but our descriptions can not imply that a lot is free from defects nor does any reference to particular defects imply the absence of others. Such information is given for guidance only and the condition of any lot, and the nature and extent of any damage or restoration, should be confirmed by examination prior to the sale. 4. The purchaser agrees purchases will be paid within 7 days of sale. A minimum storage fee of $5 per day per lot will be charged to buyers & consignors for items left at our premises after 14 days until all the payment is received. 5. The purchaser agrees the mailing address will be provided within 14 days of sale. The auction house items may be removed if we don't received the mailing address after 14 days of sales. The purchaser has the fully responsibility toward this matter. 6. By undertaking to buy or sell through Blue City General Trading's auction, it is understood that buyers and vendors have read and agree to be bound by the company terms and conditions of the company. 7. All stands and displayers shown in the photos are for display only. BUY'S PREMIUM AND TAXES: A premium of 19% of the successful bid price will be added thereto and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price on lots in sale. Blue City General Trading reserves the right to withdraw all or part of any lot prior to and after the sale of that lot. Please be noted, GST+PST will be added to all Canada based buyers. PAYMENT: Blue city general trading generated invoices will be sent out via email after the sale (normally within 24-48hours after the sale) .Payment is expected within seven (7) business days from the end of the auction. Accepted forms of payment are Paypal, bank wire transfer, money order, major credit (visa, M/C), personal cheque. Purchased items paid by personal cheque may be removed from the premises once the cheque has cleared the bank. Blue city general trading Ltd. has the rights to charge the amount on registered credit card for the unpaid lot(s) as well as shipping cost shown in the catalogue or re-offer the lot(s) if payments not received within two (2) weeks after the sale. SHIPPING: Buyer pays shipping cost. Blue City General Trading will offer the most economic packing and shipping services, the rates listed in each lot of the catalogue, Combine shipping always available to save your shipping cost. We always suggest buyer get shipping quote before auction starts. All items will be shipped via POST/UPS/Local Couriers. However, we are not responsible for the loss/damage once the item(s) left our promises and during the transits. The insurance is optional and normally 3-5% on the total value of the sold lots and it's solely buyer's responsibly. Please be noted, all items must be paid for before leaving the premises. No local pick up. Custom regulations and taxes/duties It's solely buyer's responsibility to pay for import taxes/duties, and Blue city general trading ltd. is not responsible for customs clearance. Auction descriptions: This auction session features Chinese porcelain, painting, cloisonné, lacquer, wood, and other works of art. Please note that the sale will start promptly at 6 pm (PST), 9pm (EST), 9am (Beijing), and about 80-100 lots are auctioned per hour. Please make sure to be ready at least 10 minutes before the lot you are interested in.
