Elli Buk Collection Continuance ONE DAY ONLY

This two-day auction is a continuance of the April 25-28 sale earlier this year by Grogan & Company, as featured in the August 2013 issue of the Maine Antique Digest. We will auction the remainder of the lifetime collection of Elli Buk (1949-2012). A large portion of Mr. Buk's collection reflects his love of scientific items, precision measuring instruments, and technological objects. It took us 10 truck loads over a period of three months to transfer the remainder of his estate from New York to Concord, New Hampshire. Originally, much of Mr. Buk's large collection filled his loft on Spring Street in Manhattan's SoHo. His window display at street level was a local landmark. His collection also filled the Spring Street building's basement, two warehouses in Brooklyn, and multiple other storage spaces around the city. Anyone interested in the history of Science, Technology, and Manufacturing; the Industrial Revolution; and the Steampunk Movement should not miss this auction!
