New Orleans Auction March Sale: Day 1 of 2

New Orleans Auction Galleries is pleased to announce our March 15-16 Estates Auction featuring an extensive collection of antique to contemporary fine art, sculpture, furniture, lighting, Asian arts, silver, clocks, estate jewelry and more. The sale includes a large collection of Asian fine and decorative arts as well as an important collection of 16th-century volumes and framed pages from the Divan of Hafiz. The sale also features a selection of modern and contemporary art, including works by Nan Goldin, Pedro Friedeberg, Feliciano Bejar, George Rodrigue, Ida Kohlmeyer, James Michalopoulos and George Dunbar. A good collection of Art Deco furniture and decorative arts will also be offered, including a three-piece French Art Deco rosewood and leather-upholstered salon suite and a fine Belgian five-piece Art Deco silver and ebony tea set.
