Kaminski Auctions' July 27th auction presents important collections of art and antiques from various estates. Asian art is especially well-represented, with a beautifully carved Chinese green jade plaque as a stand-out piece. Other highlights include two exceptional emerald and diamond rings, a rare eighteenth-century violin marked Gabriel Buchstetter, and two pairs of important Bohemian cut glass decanters made for the Islamic market. Of additional interest is an extraordinary collection of miniature Medieval knight figures from the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester, MA.
