Kennedy Trading Company - Navajo Collection

Walter Kennedy lived and worked for over 50 years among the Navajo People of Arizona, Utah and New Mexico. This is the sale of his personal collection that he amassed over that time period. He owned the trading post in Dennehotso, Arizona. The majority of these items were acquired during his time in Dennehotso from 1950-1983. There are many pictorial rugs, Zuni and Navajo necklaces, bracelets, concho belts and wedding baskets, among other items. The two highlights of the auction are a Leekya fetish necklace and a Navajo 2nd Phase Chief's blanket.
