The current auction of NYDJ Chinese Art Gallery presents 29 masterpieces on figure and landscape painting as attributed to Zhang Daqian, painting master of our time. They are consigned from prestigious Chinese art collectors throughout North America.
As a privilege, the gallery has also consigned dozens of beautiful Chinese paintings and calligraphy as attributed to famous artists like Wen Zhengming, Zheng Xie, Wang Wenzhi, Qing Emperor Qianlong, Fu Baoshi, Xu Beihong, Pan Tianshou, etc.. Such unusual art legacy, together with Zhang Daqian's 29 paintings, is considered the highlight of this auction.
In addition, Lot 85, an elegant Ruyao-styled lotus wine-warmer, lot 86, an exquisite Junyao-styled Zun Vase, Lot 88, a Qing Dynasty imperial twin-dragon ivory seal, and Lot 91, a giant green jade/jadeite ruyi scepter with archaic reliefs, are equally phenomenal.
For contemporary art, Jia Chen, Founder of American Poetic Expressionism, has contributed as well 15 of her recent paintings.
