The Saturday sale presents a bounty of beautiful antique decorative arts and distinctive furniture from several private collections and local estates. The sale opens with early 20th century art glass by Steuben, Tiffany and Quezal, including a four-light chandelier fitted with Aurene shades, followed by German painted plaques; Teplitz bisque; French porcelains, bronze urns and figural clocks; and antique Santos carvings and crucifixes. Unique furnishings comprise a Continental sedan chair; a Browne & Buckwell harp; Italian carved marble corbels, a sacristy, fountain, and reliquary; a parcel gilt and carved wood shrine; large European carved figures, Venetian blackamoors, and a carousel horse; as well as a French Aubusson settee, vitrines, and a Louis XVI style hall stand, together with mid-century modern examples by Charles & Ray Eames and George Nelson for Herman Miller, Marcel Breuer, Paul McCobb, and Dunbar.
