Our January auction kicks off the new year with a fine selection of watercolors, drawings, prints, and other works on paper. Highlights include works by or attributed to Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Egon Schiele, Lee Krasner, Mark Rothko, Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Richard Diebenkorn, and Cy Twombly, as well as prints and lithographs by Picasso, Miro, Chagall, and others. Two additional featured lots include an 1829 watercolor attributed to J.M.W. Turner and a small oil painting on panel also attributed to Turner. Both pieces come from a prominent Canadian collector.
