Your bid is a contract. Failure to pay for successful bids may result in negative feedback and/or legal action. Burns White Galleries will not be liable for any interruptions in internet services that may exclude on line bidders. REGISTRATION All bidders, including phone bidders, must register with Burns White Galleries and have a bidders number before bidding. Proper identification such as a valid Driver's License or other official identification is required in order to register. Burns White Galleries reserves the right to refuse to register any prospective bidder for any reason without recourse or liability. While we try to accommodate all interested phone bidders, we cannot guarantee or be held responsible for a missed call therefore we suggest that you leave a back up absentee bid in the event we cannot contact you. For those in attendance, all purchases must be paid for in full and picked up within one hour after the conclusion of the Auction. Checks either personal or business, will be accepted at the sole discretion and with prior approval of the Executive Office. Any items not retrieved at the conclusion of the sale, or where no arrangements have been made will be moved to a local warehouse at the purchasers risk and expense. We will ship jewelry, coins within the United States of America via USPS certified, registered, return receipt, for a fee of $35.00, which will be added to your bill. All jewelry must be sent to the billing address if paying by credit card. NO exceptions. Arrangements and costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer. LIMITATIONS AND ASSUMPTIONS Each lot will be sold AS IS, WHERE IS with no warranties or guarantees of condition, fitness, merchantability or suitability. It is the responsibility of potential bidders to carefully inspect each lot to determine condition and contents. All weights, counts and measurements are approximate and measured to the nearest 1/4 inch or nearest troy ounce. Ceramics and glass lots are represented as being free of major damage or repairs, unless otherwise stated but may not cover superficial damage or manufacturing defects and where possible, visible damage is shown in photograph. This Warranty does not cover normal wear on furniture, unless otherwise stated. Pieces that are, in our opinion, refinished, are described as such. The description of clocks and lighting devices, may be incomplete and may not identify every mechanical replacement, repair, or defect. The absence of reference to the condition of a clock or lighting device does not imply it to be in working condition or without defects, repairs, restorations, or replacement parts. Bidder acknowledges that all lots were accessible for on hand inspection prior to the Auction and that he or she relied solely on their own inspection of the lots and not any information listed in the catalog or otherwise provided by Auctioneer, the Auction staff or Seller. All other guarantees of authenticity of authorship, expressed or implied, are hereby disclaimed. It is the responsibility of prospective buyers to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice to provide an unbiased professional opinion of condition.
