Please Read The Following Terms & Conditions Mr. & Mrs. Jim Roe Of Beech Island, S. C., loved clocks. They traveled wide and far to amass this outstanding collection. They especially liked calendar clocks and there is a large number offered here for sale. Under the terms of Mrs. Roe’s will, the clocks are being sold without reserves and the proceeds are being divided among four charities in the State of South Carolina. All items are sold as is, where is, and with all faults. There are no warranties or representations of merchandise, of fitness nor of any other kind, express or implied. Please examine the items as fully as you desire before bidding. There are no refunds, all sales are final. No statement written or oral made by the auctioneer shall be deemed a warranty or assumption of liability by John Coker, Ltd., or by any seller represented by John Coker, Ltd. Bidding on an item indicates your understanding and acceptance of these Terms Of Sale. If a purchaser breaches any of these Terms Of Sale, including the obligation to pay for purchased items, John Coker, Ltd., may and will seek all remedies under the law including canceling the sale and reoffering the property. In the event of any legal dispute, both parties agree to be bound by the laws of the State of Tennessee. In this auction of clocks, are no reserves, whatsoever. All sales are final. If you have questions, please ask before the sale, not after. If you are the high bidder, the item is yours and must be paid for. An auction bid is a binding contract. Again, I want to emphasize, there are no reserves in this particular sale. Buyers Premium of 10% for gallery, phone & fax bidders, 15% Buyers Premium for LiveBid & Ebay successful bidders. Credit card buyers, please pay attention: Before we ship your clock, we must have a signed credit card receipt, initialed by you that all sales are final and there are no returns. If this is unacceptable and you plan to pay by credit card, DO NOT BID. All sales are final, there are no returns, and if you buy it, the piece is yours. Sport & remorse bidding are not acceptable to us, this practice deprives serious collectors of owning what they want. Packing and shipping are handled by an outside packing business. That expense is between you and the packing store. We assume no responsibility for loss or damage or insurance or lack of insurance resulting from shipping. All merchandise must be paid for and the checks cleared prior to releasing merchandise to the packing store. Successful buyers paying by check, please expect 10 banking days before the check clears. No clocks will be given to the packers before checks clear. Cashiers or Bank checks, money orders, wire transfers clear fastest. We do not accept Paypal or any other electronic payments. We will gladly provide condition reports or additional photos. Please call between 10:00 am & 7:00 pm East Coast time. Use of the word restored in the description refers only to the case and not the works. It normally means refinished and repaired. No warranty is made concerning clocks running, correct pendulums or weights, these pieces were with the clocks when unpacked, and it is assumed they were used with the clocks by Mr. & Mrs. Roe, the collectors. Payment for Ebay bidders required within 5 business days of the auction. All measurements are approximate and are not guaranteed to be totally accurate.
