With almost 1000 lots on offer from 16th century Continental books to Modern First Editions this is another bumper literary offering. Modern & Contemporary Prints Wednesday 30th November The sale includes one of Damien Hirst's most iconic works Tetrahydrocannibol, 2003 (est £15,000-18,000). An extremely rare Andy Warhol silkscreen of Mick Jagger signed by both sitter and artist (est £7000-9000) and a large collection of John Piper works. Other well-known names include Marc Chagall, Lill Tschudi, David Hockney, Henry Moore, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein and Victor Vasarely. Coins, Medals, Banknotes and Share Certificates Friday 16th December This sale features strong collections in all subject areas. Of particular note is the earliest known railway share certificate in the world. From the Derby Canal (Little Eaton Railway) dated 1793 and printed on vellum. Probably less than 10 of these certificates are known to exist worldwide.
