Desert West Auction is pleased to feature the Estate of Lucille Frazier from Iowa in our April-May Auctions. Museum Quality Native American Pottery, Early Navajo Rugs, Jewelry, Troy Anderson ‘s Bronze “Tachee Cherokee Chief”, and Paintings, all purchased in the 1970s & 80s in New Mexico are featured in this auction. Lucille was born and raised in Oklahoma where her father owned a store and service station next to the Indian Reservation. Lucille and her husband Chet’s, love of Native American Pottery lured them to New Mexico and Arizona. Her collection grew over the years prior to her moving to Iowa later in her life to be close to her children. We are very pleased that the pottery, art, rugs, jewelry have found their way home. We hope you enjoy the auction, as we have added collectibles and antiques from several estates & gallerias including estate of Native American Jewelry from Deming, New Mexico. Also there is a large collection of Antique Fans & Pienetas (hair combs) from Madrid Spain.
