Susquehanna Antiques was founded in 1913 by Samuel Harris Friedman, the current owner?s grandfather. The original shop was located in Port Deposit, Maryland, along the Susquehanna River. The business was then relocated to Biltmore Ave. in Asheville, North Carolina. We have recently returned to Asheville from Georgetown in Washington D.C. and we are here to stay. Our current location at 308 Merrimon Avenue, is an impressive brick building built in 1917. The collection we house is full of authentic period antique furniture, 18th, 19th, and early 20th century paintings. We are the first stop place for interior decorators, collectors new and old.

By bidding at the auction, whether present in person or by agent, by written bid, telephone, internet or other means, the buyer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. 1. All items are sold as-is. All sales are subject to buyers approval of the lot, and shall be made final upon the 3rd day after receipt of the lot. 2. All purchases are subject to a North Carolina State sales tax of 7% unless (1) the buyer is an out of state resident and lots are being shipped out of North Carolina or (2) the purchaser has a valid tax resale certificate (an actual resale certificate must be presented and on file with Susquehanna Antique Company, Inc.) 3. All items are sold as-is, where-is. We do our best to describe the items; our descriptions are no way to be interpreted as a guarantee of any kind as to authenticity, age, condition and materials. Shipping and insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchase is not contingent upon shipping costs. You must be aware of the shipping costs before you bid on an item. 4. All items left in the gallery upon the 30th business day will incur a daily storage fee of $10.00 per lot. 7.ALL ITEMS WILL INCUR A $10 A DAY STORAGE FEE NO MATTER SIZE IF LEFT IN THE AUCTION FACILITY AFTER THE 30 BUSINESS DAYS NO EXCEPTIONS.
