Important Asian Art - Part II

The auction continues the line-up of Important Asian works of art, curated by Auctionata?s Berlin (Part I) and New York Department for Asian Art (Part II). On the forefront of exquisite masterpieces is the Important Famille Noire Fahua-style Vase from the Kangxi Period. The vase was once in the collection of the legendary Yamanaka gallery, New York. This distinguished provenance is documented by an old gallery catalogue from 1929. The sale also features an excellent group of carved cinnabar lacquer boxes, among them a delicate seal paste box with a depiction of three scholars, dating to the Ming dynasty. The strong selection of Chinese ceramics is furthermore represented by the Polygonal Famille Verte Bowl with Dignitaries from the Kangxi Period. Of special interest for a distinguished group of collectors is the fine cloisonné ?Bamboo? Striking and repeating Carriage Clock, made for the Chinese market in the 19th C. We are looking forward to welcome you to Auctionata?s Asian Art Day, crowned by two Premium Auctions and curated in global cooperation by the Berlin and New York Departments for Asian Art.
