A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Bitong Brush Pot, Chongzhen mark. The body is slightly tapered and cylindrical, covered with a pale ivory glaze and decorated with vivid cobalt blue to depict a scrolled scene of an audience being granted, in the setting of the facade under the willow tree near the riverside. The bottom has a six-character Chongzhen reign mark. {Height 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm)}. Condition: Some wear, scratches, and defects.
