Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Famille Rose Cranes Porcelain Bottle Vase. Potted in bell shape vase, globular lower body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with slight flaring mouth rim, raised on flat round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of flying cranes over flower bloom tree. The crane symbolizes longevity as well as wisdom. An embroidery of a crane formed part of the regalia of the top rank of Imperial officials, so can symbolize the wish for promotion to a high official position. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed red script characters reign mark, enclosed within red rectangle lines. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
