Beautiful large polychrome mask that is reminiscent of the initiation masks Butende des Bembe
The eyes are in the center of huge kaolin bleached orbits, the decorations in the form of friezes of triangles are also present.
A very similar mask is illustrated by Marc Leo Felix (page 33, n ° 1 see bibliography)
The Goma live in eastern Congo, a little further south than the Bembe,
Culturally, They are very close to them
