Featured in this lot is a beautiful, Rolleicord medium-format twin lens reflex camera made by Franke & Heidecke of Rollei cameras in Germany, circa 1930-50s. Rollei is a German company that has been manufacturing cameras and optical instruments since 1920. The Rolleicord is a medium-format twin lens reflex camera that was produced between 1933 and 1976 by Franke & Heidecke (Rollei). It was a cheaper version of the high-end Rolleiflex TLR, designed for amateur photographers who could not afford the expensive Rolleiflex. This camera is set in its beautiful, original leather case and features two lens, a Heidosmat 1:3.2/75 225091 and a Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 1:3.5/75 2884271. The top can be flipped open to reveal the view-port and a small magnifying glass can be flipped over the view-port to enlarge the viewing area. The right side shows two knobs, one reading, "Made In Germany" while the left shows two smaller knobs. The camera reads, "Rolleicord DRP 1195739 DRGM / Computer-Rapid / Franke & Heidecke Braunschweig" on the front of the camera. The camera shows good condition overall with wear present from its age and use over the years, but there are no signs of obvious damage noted on the camera. The leather case strap has been broken. Camera has not been tested for functionality, but interior components appear to be in good condition. The camera measures 4 1/8" L x 3 3/4" W x 5 3/4" H and weighs 2lb 4oz.*
