Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Michoacan or Nayarit, ca. 500 BCE to 300 CE. A matched pair of hand-built pottery tripod bowls, each of miniature size. The petite vessels are each decorated with repeating rings in red slip, with in-folded rims and carinated midsections defining their form. Size of each (both are relatively similar): 1.16" L x 1.15" W x 0.73" H (2.9 cm x 2.9 cm x 1.9 cm)
Provenance: private Lumberton, Texas, USA collection, acquired before 2010

Each vessel with heavy earthen deposits, light fading to exterior colors, and minor abrasions, otherwise in great condition. Nice preservation to overall forms.
