Description
American. 1930s. Laminated wood with brass tips and brass edge lining. Ole Fahlin was one of the world's greatest craftsmen in the art of handmade wooden propellers. The propeller has a wall bracket for mounting. This Fahlin is an early model that was made for a Bird CK, Fairchild KR21, B, Fleet 7, 8, 9, 10, Travelair 16K, 12K, and Waco INF and IBA. This propeller could be used for any of these planes in combination with a Kinner B5 125hp engine. A striking piece of early aviation history. Stamped, "JT777 6 50", beside hub. Marked, "Fahlin Propellers Columbia, MO., U.S.A.", at mid-wood blade of decal. Stamped, "Fahlin D650 No. 10493 H.P. 125 RPM 1925 ATC 608", beside hub. Span: 96". Bore: 2.5". Condition
Excellent restored and refinished condition. There are two replacement decals and the tip has been repainted.
