Description
American. 1978. Mixed materials. Produced by D. Gottlieb & Company, an American company best known for pinball machines and arcade games. This is the sixth solid state (which means mechanisms are controlled digitally) pinball game released by Gottlieb, making it one of the early pins. It shows licensed imagery from Charlie's Angels, one of television's highest-rated series. There were 7,600 of these machines produced, each machine easily hosting 4 players with dedicated score counters. A very collectible machine Marked, "D. Gottlieb & Co. 1978", at lower right edge of the backglass and in various locations (without the date) across the machine. Legs: 29". 71" x 28.25" x 52.5". The Late Mike O'Hara Collection.
Condition
Good condition. Machine tested and working. Lights up and plays. LED display shows some flickering. The backglass shows some active flaking/crazing with some losses at hair and paint near upper left edge. There is some flaking and wear to the playfield, particularly in high-traffic areas, but remains visually appealing. Plastics are good. The cabinet has original paint.
