19th/Early 20th Century
1) Ivory fritz handle. Silver collar with scrolls and presentation cartouche; hallmarks rubbed. Ebonized wood shaft with metal ferrule. Length 35.5".
2) Small capstick handle with fine gold pique depicting a crown over a W on top and vines and scrolls on sides. Slender shell shaft with gold eyelets for wrist cord. Length 34".
3) L-shaped ivory handle carved as a segment of bamboo and capped with wood. Silver collar with flower head design; marked "Sterling". Bamboo shaft. Length 34.25".
4) Ivory knob handle, the throat carved in a quilted diamond design embellished with gold wire and rings. Slightly tapering wood shaft. Ferrule probably horn. Length 35.5".
5) Ivory capstick handle. Thin gold collar; marked "14K". Tapered hexagonal ebonized wood shaft. Horn ferrule. Length 36".

All show typical signs of age, wear and use. Most with sticker residue. 1) Age lines in handle. 2) Handle slightly loose from shaft, possibly missing a collar. Shaft chipped at base. No ferrule or tip. 3) Age lines. Wood cap with roughness. No ferrule or tip. 4) Some wire missing. 5) Age line. The absence of a condition report does not imply an object is free of defects.
