This beaded oval passage knob is said to be from the Empire State Building in Spokane, WA c..1900, when Idaho (next door) was known as the Empire State...this information is suspect and has not confirmed...the plate measures 10.5' x 2.5" and likely did not start life with the knob, although they've been searching for each other since then...both nice as found
