Description
DESCRIPTION: Late Edo or early Meiji "Imperial Satsuma" porcelain vase decorated on its side with gilt accented flowers in front of and peeking over an intricately patterned gosu blue fence. Lip is finished with gosu blue semi-circles and yunleiwen (cloud thunder patterns). Marked on underside with a large Satsuma crest ("mon") and with a gilt kanji inscription.
