Superb underglaze blue jar with beautifully drawn peony scroll motif. The dark blue dotted spots were unique charasteristic of Yuan-early Ming's Mohammadan blue from Persia. In Kangxi era, these dark blue dots were remade, but hand drawn manually by the artist. Rare item.
