Description
Antique Kalabubu neck ring worn only by warriors of the Nias Tribe, Sumatra, Indonesia. Made from bronze and coconut shell, kalabubu is a symbol of war and heroism, and is believed able to protect the soldiers who wear it. Kalabubu is also called the 'Headhunters neck ring".
Inner diameter 190-195mm, 7,1/2-7,3/4"inches.
