Group of Inkwells, Staffordshire, Rockingham, Etc. (1) American Rockingham glazed whippet inkwell. Measures 4 1/2" high X 6" long X 3" wide. (2) Pair of Staffordshire Porcelain greyhound inkwells. Measures approx. 4 1/2" high X 6 3/8" long. (1) Staffordshire Porcelain deer inkwell. Measures approx. 3 3/4" high X 4 5/8" long X 2" wide. (1) Dark brown salt glaze "Souter Johnnie" figural inkwell. "Souter Johnnie" was a character from Robert Burns 1790 poem, "Tam O'Shanter." Measures 3" X 2 1/8". (1) Rare Staffordshire shoe with removable pounce or powder shaker, removable inkwell, and two pen holders. Measures 2" high X 6" long X 1 7/8" wide. Condition- Greyhounds and deer are in good condition with some manufacturer imperfections. Brown salt glaze head has some glaze loss to nose. Shoe has three glaze chips, and powder shaker has top edge chip.
