Description
Northwestern Europe, England / Scandinavia, Viking to Medieval Period, ca. 8th to 13th century CE. A heavily patinated iron axe head with an elongated vertical blade and tubular socketing shaft with a small knob protruding opposite the blade, similar to a halberd in appearance. Size: 6.5" L x 5" W (16.5 cm x 12.7 cm); 6" H (15.2 cm) on included custom stand.
