This is a charming 20" Antique Bisque head/composition body doll, made in Germany.
It is very early Armand Marseille doll. She is very unusual mold.
Back of the neck is marked, "Armand Marseille - Germany - 990 - A - 3 - M".
She has a gorgeous open mouth with front teeth showing and delicately brushed upper and lower eyelashes.
The doll has a composition/wood body, arms and legs, and bisque head. Her joints are made of wood. It is very unusual body
There are no visible cracks or damage on the bisque head.
The body is in good condition with some discoloration and some minor scratches.
She misses two fingers.
The wig looks older and it is made of real hear.
She wears a red dress with lace, red under dress with lace, white cotton jumper, long socks and brown shoes
I would consider that the dress and the hat are vintage rather than antique.
The doll is in overall good antique condition.
Her strings are a little loose but she can keep her posture
Simply gorgeous!
