  • Description: This special order humidor has four routes, inlayed in multicolor enamel, that completely outlines the world tour that the boat made. The boat was owned by 1924 British Olympian Bobsledder Rodney Ewart Soher. He documented his various journeys in the Six scrapbooks included in this lot (Including the 1924 Chamonix, France Olympics he participated in). The scrapbook includes hundreds of photographs and many signatures of celebrities, politicians, and socialites. Some of the Images and/or signatures include Charlie Chaplin, Jack Doyle, Benita Hume, Lili Demita, and Betty Sinclair.

    A stunning piece of history that can hardly be captured in the few images allotted.

  • Condition: Mild wear to the enamel and silver and a little toning. In great condition for the age of the piece. The book bindings are falling apart and have been taped back together several times. Some pages are creased or stained but most content is legible.
  • Approx. Measurements and Weight: Box is 7.75in. x 6in. x 1.75in. and weighs 21.9ozt
