period mark of 1907-1947, directorship of John C. Moore II, a reproduction of the original by Joseph Coyers, Boston, circa 1700, with period "LSB" monogram for Louis Seely Beard.
4 1/4 x 9 1/8 in.
22.9 troy oz.
Louis Seely Beard was the second daughter of Fred Loring Seely (American, 1871-1942), an American newspaperman, chemist, inventor, and philanthropist who built and founded the Grove Park Inn with his father-in-law and purchased the Biltmore Estate Industries from Edith Vanderbilt in 1917.
Inherited through the Seely Family, Asheville, North Carolina.
