circa early 20th century, Taunton Massachusetts, retail mark of Shreve Crump & Low Co., with stylized monograms to rims.

Lester Vaughan was born in 1899 and was active as a pewter smith and medalist for the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts. He worked in sterling on occasion and examples of his work are scarce.
