Description
4 Japanese and Chinese fans. Hand painted fan with scene of fishermen in landscape and flowers on the reverse, approximately 22"W; paper fan with hand painted floral motif and birds on the reverse, 22 1/2"W; embroidered silk fan with mother-of-pearl sticks and guards, 18"W; fan with scenes of Taiwan, inscription on the sticks in pencil dated July 4, 1876, 18 1/4"W. All as is, with tears, holes, separation, losses and other damage throughout. Fishermen fan one guard cracked (piece present).
