This very rare calendar depicts a duck hunting scene w/ two men in a duck boat. The hunter is shouldering his LC Smith while his pipe-smoking guide paddles the boat. Bag of ducks, including mallards, canvasbacks, & green wing teals, lies on the bow. The picture is set w/ the purple & orange hues of the rising sun in the background, reflecting off the blue water & casting a shadow off the boat & marsh grass. Lower portion has a Dupont heading in large letters over a gray-colored February 1906 calendar page. Bottom of the page has the slogan, "Arrange for deliveries of DU PONT Explosives". Calendar is behind glass in an antiqued gold-colored frame. Image size is 28 7/16" x 14 1/2". Frame size is 31" x 17". CONDITION: very good.
