Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Blue and White Porcelain Flat Vase On Carved Hardwood Stand. Potted in moon vase, thick and tall, globular moon lower belly, straight cylindrical neck, round slight flaring mouth rim, raised on ring foot base with slight concave footing. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color depicted of flowers bloom medallion surrounded with eight auspicious petals pattern. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
