Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico, Guerrero region, Mezcala culture, ca. 600 to 100 BCE. A charming necklace strung with 33 hand-carved greenstone beads, each of relative tubular form, and all with biconically drilled suspension holes. Size (necklace: 38" L (96.5 cm); (largest bead): 1.82" L x 0.73" W x 0.71" H (4.6 cm x 1.9 cm x 1.8 cm)

Condition
Wearable as shown and strung in modern times. Greenstone beads are ancient; stringing is modern. Minor nicks, chips, and abrasions to some beads, otherwise intact and very good. Nice stone coloration.
