A large Chinese famille rose covered jar, dating from the 19th century. The wide jar with flat bottom has straight sides, with a lid that fits recessed into the rim. Cover decoration of a deity figures with attendants surrounding, one unveiling a large scroll. Sides feature more deity figures in scenes of Chinese life Two loops on each side, one still retaining its metal handle.
