Vintage Sterling Mexican Sun Necklace, 17" Omega Chain, 1960's-1970's. The pendant is signed Mexica and sterling and tests as sterling. The chain is marked sterling and Italy and tests as sterling with a combined weight of appx. 21.40 gr. the sun has an opening of 9.5mm by 6mm bail that will accommodate almost any chain. The sun itself is domed rays and center with the entire pendant being appx. 2.25" by 1.5". The pendant is appx. 1960's-1970's, maybe earlier and the chain is appx. late 1970's to 1980's as it has a lobster clasp. Both have heavy oxidaton that will polish back to bright and shiny. No damage. Good to very good condition. Not signed by the maker. (W1723.2X2 SS9901 J LD 3/2/23).
