Description
An ancient Roman moulded terracotta pottery lamp. Egyptian Frog type with carinated body. Made in plaster mould, decorated with an engraved ornament on the top, a raised circle nozzle top and a raised handle. Probably marked with an impressed stamp, on the bottom. Circa: 3rd century to 4th century AD. Ancient and Antique Roman Imperial Byzantine Terracotta and Ceramic Oil Lamps, Museum Pieces, and Historical Artifacts.
Dimensions: L 5 x W 3 3/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
