Description
EVANS SWESON UMBRELLA
Early 20th Century
L-shaped carved ivory handle. Monogrammed silver collar marked "sterling". Wood throat painted to simulate shell. Wood shaft. Black fabric canopy. Frame with Evans Sweson label.
Length 34.25".
Condition
Ivory with age lines and color variations. Wood throat with minor chipping. Collar tarnished. Canopy with some tears, toning. Wear commensurate with age. Opens smoothly but doesn't catch easily.
