A Gothic Revival bronze desk stand, 19th century, French, the removable roof over a revolving triangular body, fitted with a silvered dial 'thermomètre’, seven-day initialled gilt note-holders and a paper calendar, on a triform claw foot plinth, 11.5cm diameter 35.5cm high Provenance: The David Morris Collection.
