A prominent ski town and vacation destination, the city of Lausanne sits right on the shores of Lake Geneva and overlooks the Swiss Alps. With the alluring dark colors, red lettering and 'the source of health' as the caption under the header, the poster suggests that the sauna will reinvigorate any weary traveler and warm the hearts of locals. The 'Institut Corposano' poster was printed by the Marsens Brothers, who owned a popular printing house in Lausanne. Unfortunately, little is known about the artist, L. Besson, who signed the poster.
