DSP. A desirable example of this rare C. 1930's double sided porcelain sign from Sinclair Aircraft featuring a wonderful monoplane graphic. CONDITION: Side 1 retains good color and shine throughout the field. There are a series of touch ups in the field of this sign. Most of the touched up areas are no bigger than a few inches across. The majority of the touch up is in the red and green background sections and the white lettering and graphic. The mounting holes and outer edges show minor porcelain loss and wear (7.0). Side 2 is touch up free, showing porcelain chips and and general wear with discoloration throughout the field. The red and green sections show fading and the gloss is dull.
