Beautiful pair of Scottie Dog bookends.
They are signed Frankart Inc Patent Applied For
Made by Sculptor Arthur Frankenberg from 1922-1932.
The Frankart Company, of New York, was famous for their art deco figurines all done in metal. These pieces date from the 1920s.
They measure approx 5" long X 3.5" tall and weigh an astonishing 2 pounds each.
Condition is excellent but for the tip of one ear being chipped off. It is hardly noticeable but you can see it
